GST relief for travellers to increase to $600 from 1 April 2012


From 1 April 2012, Singaporeans returning from overseas and international visitors will enjoy up to $600 Goods and Services Tax (GST) relief. The details are as follows: -More than 48 hours abroad: GST relief for goods valued up to $600 (this is double the current amount of $300) -Less than 48 hours abroad: GST relief for goods valued up to $150
